The 2009 40 Hour Famine is all about "Raising the Stakes". That means getting out there and challenging yourself and everyone you know to do the Famine.
"Raising the Stakes" means getting creative, thinking big and going all out – so that by challenging each other we can achieve more than ever before.
Why? Because the stakes are even higher. The global food crisis has hit places like Tanzania and Bangladesh particularly hard. It’s a struggle just to survive, and it’s up to us to make a difference.
