Setting a goal gives you something to aim for, helps you concentrate your time and effort and keeps you motivated. So:-

  • In your sponsor book write down your sponsorship goal before you start collecting to keep you motivated.
  • Get a team together (include your Famine Organiser) to discuss what your school's fundraising goal could be this year.
  • Refer to the Famine Hope Catalogue to set a goal based on an item that represents a specific community need in one of the Famine funded World Vision's projects.
  • Raise the stakes by challenging your peers to set an equally challenging goal.

Use the template below and then challenge your peers!

I am going to spend up to 40 hours__________ to raise enough money for_________ which means________________. What are you going to do?
