What's "Raise the Stakes" all about?
Capturing the spirit that’s at the heart of the Famine, this year we are asking you to take up the challenge to "Raise the Stakes". The stakes have never been higher with the global food crisis causing hardship and hunger. So this year we’re encouraging participants to challenge their peers, school, church, and family to see who can create the best Famine and ultimately who can make the largest difference in raising the most funds for children in desperate need.
What happens to World Vision funds raised?
We're committed to sending as much as possible directly to the field. 75% of the funds raised will go straight to World Vision projects in developing countries to give assistance to children and their families. The other 25% is used to cover essential fundraising costs.
